1. 12YO had an ortho consultation with our THIRD orthodontist this morning. I like him the best and I think we'll stick with him. AND...he has a STADIUM SEATING MOVIE THEATER in his office!
2. Hmmmm....I wonder how he PAYS for that!
3. Oh! I know....with OUR MONEY!!!
4. Truthfully, though...this guy is a pioneer for all these different methods and I truly trust him. And she REALLY needs to have something done. Not so much for looks, because her teeth aren't that bad. But, her jaw will be more and more uncomfortable because her bite is off. It already 'clicks' and it's only going to get worse!
5. Plus, if she's not given the correct treatment....she could end up looking like JAY LENO IN A WIG. Now, how can I do that to a girl???
6. Lily and the girls got to go stay at GRANDMA'S HOUSE while I took 12YO to her appointment. I think Lily really likes it there...but she seems SO HAPPY to be home, too!
7. My TMJ is really acting up and I have a headache! It makes me want to clench my jaw, but I have to stop myself because that only makes it hurt even worse!
8. B5YO is staying the night tonight so her mom can work later to make up for the shorter week. She and 5YO are happily playing with Polly Pockets on the couch. I wonder how long that will last! At the very least, I wonder how long it will take for me to have to threaten to take the toys away if they fight over them. Works ALMOST every time!
9. Only a few days left before we are having that family shin-dig here. And I've done NOTHING that I'd planned on! I need to scrub my bathrooms really well NOW, so I can just touch them up the day of the party. That won't take long, but there are SO MANY other things that need to be done! WAAAAHHH!!! I WANT A MAID!!!!!!!!
10. 12YO was invited to a sleepover...for YESTERDAY. Apparently, the girl's mom called last week and I just got the message TODAY! Low and behold, the mother called back tonight and said that they rescheduled the party for NEXT WEEK and they wanted 12YO to be there. Whew! Dodged that bullet!
