  1.  I went to the dentist today.  I had a filling to be replaced and two little 'ol cavities to fill.  Not bad for six years of dentist-free living, eh?  The whole left side of my mouth was numb.  To drink from a straw, I had to make a really funny face so the iced tea wouldn't just dribble down my chin.  12YO tried to make a face like mine, but I guess she just doesn't quite have the talent...or is it the NOVACAINE???
